Dolomiti SkiRock organizes high-altitude mountaineering courses both for beginners, who want to approach to this wonderful discipline, and for more expert mountaineers willing to take their skills and knowledge of the climbing techniques to the next level.

The courses cover different topics, such as:

  • how to use crampons
  • how to rope up to safely move on glaciers
  • ice faces and crests climbing techniques
  • rescue techniques (crevasses extraction)
  • how to use a compass, an altimeter and the GPS
  • topographic map reading
