You can purchase it:

  • Online on the Dolomiti Superski website
  • At the Skipass Office in Cortina

How many days are needed to learn a new sport or improve skills?

For beginners, both in climbing and ski mountaineering, we recommend two days with a private guide.

Who is the Via Ferrata recommended for?

It is recommended for those who:

  • Regularly hike in the mountains
  • Do not suffer from severe vertigo

Details:

  • You start with easy or medium via ferratas, learning how to dress and move safely
  • You can reach many peaks safely
  • Via ferratas are chosen together with the client, based on personal aptitude
  • One guide accompanies a maximum of 3–4 people
  • Children must be at least 8 years old and already experienced in hiking, accompanied by their parents
  • If the group is more experienced, the guide will decide together with the client at the time of booking

Why choose a private guide for a small group instead of large groups?

A private guide offers:

  • Greater safety
  • A personalized experience
  • Better involvement and sharing of sensations
  • Higher quality compared to large groups
  • The result is completely different from group experiences

What kind of clothing is needed for summer sports?

In spring, summer, and autumn, it is good practice to carry a backpack with:

  • Water and snacks
  • A spare T-shirt, fleece, and windproof jacket
  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, bandana/hat
  • Small first aid kit
  • Headlamp and power bank

Shoes with good grip, spare socks, blister plasters, personal medications (which the guide cannot administer)

Notes:

  • Sudden storms may occur in the mountains and temperatures can drop
  • The guide always carries a first aid kit and is trained to intervene or call for rescue
  • If you are alone, always carry a first aid kit, a headlamp, and a topographic map of the area

And in winter, what clothing is recommended?

  • Light backpack with water, gloves, and hat
  • Layered clothing for easy adjustment
  • Down jacket and windproof shell for cold protection
  • Only a few essential personal items
  • During hikes, snowshoeing, or skiing, you warm up easily, so a few well-chosen layers are enough

Yes. All areas that bordered the Austro-Hungarian Empire (1915–1918) above the Ampezzo basin were war zones, including:

  • 5 Torri, Tofane, Col dei Bos, Lagazuoi, Sass de Stria, Forte dei 3 Sass
  • Col di Lana, Setsass (Falzarego Pass)
