"My name is Giacomo, “Jack” and I'm one of those lucky men who managed to make out of their passion, their job, becoming a mountain guide.

When I was 16, after dreaming it for years, my parents allowed me to start climbing, and in that first season I managed to climb the Solleder route, on the North-West face of mt. Civetta. When I finally got my driving licence and the consequent freedom to go to the mountains whenever I could, at the age of 18, I met a special friend who made me discover steep and extreme skiing.

I'm happily married, I have two amazing dogs, and every morning I'm lucky to open my bedroom window in a wonderful mountain town and to live this environment to the fullest through my job which I believe to be the best in the whole world.
Among my skiing adventures, those I can recall with special affection are:
