New ski mountaineering itineraries in the Dolomites

The Dolomiti SkiRock Mountain Guides always search for new things to propose to their clients, searching and trying new ski mountaineering and off-piste ski itineraries in the Cortina’s Dolomites.

Mario did a new ski mountaineering itinerary in the Tofane Group. In the tour it is included:

  • amazing free ride descent along the gullies below the huge rock walls of Tofana di mezzo and Tofana Terza using the cable car
  • an one hour climbing with the skins to the Tondi di Ciandrou and along the Ra Zestes ridge
  • an off-piste skiing descent along the gullies from Cima Ra Zestes to the Ra Valles uphill station and then following the slopes of the Tofane ski resort down to the bottom station of the cable car “Freccia del cielo”. due to the snow conditions it will be possible to ski down along the Vallon dei Comate to the Fiames area.
