Information about the off-piste skiing itinerary Vallon dei Comate to Tofane
In order to access the off-piste skiing itinerary Vallon dei Comate it is necessary to get to Ra Valles by taking the Freccia nel Cielo cable car and then skiing down the slope to reach the starting point of the Forcella Rossa skiing slope.
On your left side you will see a steep slope, that you will have to descend on foot (sometimes also crampons are needed) to reach the Ra Zestes summit (2410 metres a.s.l.).
From there, you have to descend a few hundreds metres northwards and traverse towards right to reach a small pass.
The rill is quite wide and not extremely steep, the slope is enjoyable and leads to the edge of a wood.
It is possible either to reach the lifts traversing the slope towards right or keep skiing entering the wood to reach the main valley and the Fiames hamlet, from where you can take the bus to go back to the lifts departure.
