The e-bike tour with the via ferrata Olivieri is an excursion for those who love intense activities; it combines a nice trail by mountain bike along charming wooded dirt trails with a medium difficulty via ferrata climbing along the rocky face of the Middle Tofana.

Technically the via ferrata is not particularly difficult and can be handled also by people without a great climbing experience. The mountain bike trail as well is beautiful and easy, and is suitable for everyone.

The e-bike tour starts in Cortina where we take the old railroad track to the Fiames campground.

Following an uphill road, we reach the splendid Lake Ghedina. Then we continue along a pleasant road in the woods, gently climbing until we cross the famous Montanelli trail taking us to Pie’ Tofana place.

We leave the bicycles at the Tofana chairlift and we climb on foot to Col Druscie where we take the cable car to reach Ra Valles at an elevation of 2400 meters.

Descending for about two and a half hours we follow the Olivieri via ferrata, bolted with fixed ropes, dropping about 300 meters down to the Duca d’Aosta Lodge.

After a well-deserved res,t we climb on the bike and we come back to Cortina on roads and trails.
