Excursions on Fat Bike in Cortina d'Ampezzo

By now the electric bike has become a reality within everyone's reach. It offers the possibility to go on countless excursions without the need of excessive physical training.

Even during the winter season you can go on an excursion by Fat Bike, a special electric bike equipped with very wide wheels to better grip and float on the snow.

The frame and the gearbox are identical to a standard e-Bike's. During the winter months, Dolomiti SkiRock organizes excursions by Fat Bike in and around Cortina. The routes are in woods or on mountain trails previously groomed by snowmobiles.

The itineraries reach several local mountain lodges or warm and welcoming mountain cabins where we can stop for rest and refreshments.

When the hard snow provides good support, the Fat Bike excursions are particularly beautiful as we can follow more challenging trails in search of more fascinating mountains climbing up and down snowy valleys and passes in the area.
