Lavaredo Ultra Trail, Cortina Trail and Cortina Skyrace

Three different races aimed at three different types of runners take place every June in Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the spectacular scenery of the Dolomites: the North Face® Lavaredo Ultra Trail, Cortina Trail and Cortina Skyrace.

The races

The North Face® Lavaredo Ultra Trail

With its 119 km of length and 5850 metres of elevation gain,  The North Face® Lavaredo Ultra Trail  is part of the Ultra Trail World Tour, the international circuit that includes the ten most important trail races of the world.

The Lavaredo Ultra Trail starts in the evening from the centre of Cortina, that glows with the lights of hundreds of headlamps that guide the athletes in their first few miles of running at night.

The trail embraces the most spectacular peaks of the Dolomites: the Cristallo, the Tofane, Cinque Torri, and of course the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

The competitors have 30 hours of time to complete the race and come back to Cortina within the time limit.

Cortina Trail

The Cortina Trail is a shorter race, it is 47 km long with an overall elevation gain of 2650 metres, starting in the morning from Corso Italia, the main street of Cortina.

The competitors have 12 hours of time to cover the circular circuit, which follows the first 10 and last 37 kilometres of the longer Lavaredo Ultra Trail path.
