Off-piste on the Marmolada

Great off-piste day on the Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites. Reaching 3343 meters at Penia Point, this is the highest peak in the Dolomites. A true paradise for off-piste lovers, the downhill slope is facing north and in winter often offers good, fresh and powdery snow conditions. The runs are varied and the downhill runs have an elevation loss of 1200, guaranteeing highly rewarding skiing.

Lead by a group of excellent and trusted riders, the excursion starts in Arabba. Climbing by lift to Porta Vescovo, we then descend along the Padon, reaching the Ciapela Lodge: a good warm-up before we tackle the off-piste on the Marmolada, two beautiful and demanding runs in fresh snow reaching Lago Fedaia.

On the way back, we leave our last marks on the slopes surrounding the ski slopes in Arabba, to make it a full day engaging the group for a total elevation loss of almost 3800 meters.
