Contact usInteresting mountaineering excursion to Monte Cristallo. We start from Rio Gere where we can take the chairlift to Son Forca.
The climb folds along the southern side of the mountain, taking the Staunies couloir to its half point, then turning right along a clearly visible ledge. Once we pass a few rocky jumps, we enter a beautiful, long and narrow couloir leading to the fork from where the Vallecant couloir descends, heading north.
From the fork, we can continue along the Ferrata Marino Bianchi or head to the left along the same ferrata to the Lorenzi hut. We return descending along the Staunies couloir back to Son Forca, where we take the Cristallo chairlift.
