Climbing on the route Via Schubert to Piz Ciavazes in the Sella Group

For Andrea, Nicola and Silvia, Mario has chosen the beautiful and challenging Schubert route in the Sella Group to open the “with a bang” the climbing season in the Dolomites.

It is an eight leg climb with fifth and sixth difficulty degree, developing elegantly along the great cleft dividing the central section of the south wall of Piz Ciavazes from the section on the right side.

The Schubert route is a vertical and wired climb on excellent rock; it will take you up to the Chamois Ledge. On the way back you will enjoy a beautiful sight of the surrounding mountains.
