World War I tour on snowshoes

The Great World War Tour unfolds around the Valparola Pass, which saw ferocious fighting during that conflict, lasting from 1914 to 1918.

The World War I tour on snowshoes takes an easy trail, extremely interesting from an historical and panoramic point of view, enriched by the visit to a small Austrian village called “Edelweiss Village”, recently restored. Then the excursion on snowshoes reaches a small peak facing the Badia Valley in Trentino Alto Adige.

At the end of the trip it is possible to visit the historical museum totally dedicated to the Great War that opened in August of 2003.
