Five-Star ski safari in the Dolomites

Five-Star Ski Safari is a five-day ski trip to discover the Dolomites, the most beautiful mountains in the world and World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Using Dolomiti Superski various lifts, all connected to each other, you can spend five days along ski locations in the entire Dolomite area.

Five-Star Ski Safari starts from Cortina d’Ampezzo, moving on to other ski locations through the Dolomitic Passes, small mountain towns and historic sites from WWI, up to the top of Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites, at 3300 m. elevation.

The ski slopes always have perfectly groomed snow, from December to April.

Ski Safari Day One: Ski area in Cortina d'Ampezzo
The program includes spectacular and technical runs down the local mountains where you will tackle the 1956 Olympic Games historic runs. You are going to visit locations where movies such as 007, For Your Eyes Only, with Roger Moore, Cliffhanger, with Sylvester Stallone, and The Pink Panther by Blake Edwards were shot.

Ski Safari Day Two: ski area around Monte Elmo
A new and fast ski connection to the Austrian border, next to the legendary Tre Cime di Lavaredo, offers a great variety of slopes at different difficulty levels and various lengths. During this tour, you can ski four and half kilometers of the Elmoissimo run or the black diamond run Holzriese

Ski Safari Day Three: ski area around Plan de Corones
A huge hill with long spectacular runs coming down on every side. On the top of Plan de Corones you will be able to visit the new museum by Rainold Messner

Ski Safari Day Four: ski area in Sellaronda
Sellaronda is the longest ski carrousel in Europe, over 50 km of ski runs with perfectly groomed snow, crossing through four alpine valleys, Fassa, Livinallongo, Badia, and Gardena. You can tackle the Sellaronda ski tour over Campolongo Pass, to Pordoi Pass, to Sella Pass and to Gardena Pass, keeping your skis on all the way.

Ski Safari Day Five: Ski area around Mount Civetta and Marmolada
Beautiful day of skiing, reaching the top of Marmolada at 3,300 meters and going down through the Serrai di Sottoguda, a canyon surrounded by huge iced waterfalls.

NOTE:

  • To enroll in Five-Star Ski Safari you need to be able to ski on a red diamond slope with a solid technique.
  • Overnight stays in the areas are in 3 to4 stars hotels, with excellent food and wines. Most hotels have saunas.
  • Personal luggage is moved from hotel to hotel by the Dolomiti SkiRock organization.
  • Upon request, we organize transportation from the airports in Venice, Treviso and Innsbruck by private 8 seater minibus up to Cortina.
