The program includes two beautiful and pleasant excursions on the mountains surrounding the plateau and an overnight stay at the Sennes Lodge, strategically located to enjoy the magnificent view of some of the best peaks in the Dolomites: Croda Rossa at 3146 m., Monte Cristallo at 3221 m., Monte Sorapis at 3205 m., and the Tofane Group, at 3243 m.

Ski mountaineering in the Dolomites: First day

08:00 a.m. meeting point at Pederu
Excursion to the Lavinores Mountain at 2462 m.
Fun ski mountaineering itinerary reaching the top of Mt. Lavinores. The trail is not particularly technically challenging. We descend along the northern slope of the mountain, a fun and straightforward ski-run.

Elevation gain 1100 m.
Elevation loss 700 m.
Climbing time about 3 and a half hours
Total excursion time about 5 hours

Ski mountaineering in the Dolomites: Second day

Excursion to Monte Ricegon at 2654 m.
The ski mountaineering trail crosses the whole Sennes plateau, reaching the slope and taking you to the top of Monte Resegon. The spectacular descent runs along wide and open slopes in the Val di Crippes down to the woods and ending at the lake shelter. The bus ride to return to Pederu lasts about 15 minutes.
