The route Via dello Spigolo del Pilastro is an amazing climbing path on perfect rock, a highly satisfying climb along the gray slabs of the rock pinnacle of Tofana di Rozes that leads to the wide, diagonal ledge.
The key pitch is a demanding, overhanging traverse above a large roof and makes this route even more interesting and challenging.
Towards its end, the route becomes easier and the rock becomes less solid and compact. The route is well-equipped with protection devices and pitons also in the belay points.

Difficulty level: 5° and 6°.
Equipped with pitons.
Route length: 550 metres.
Duration time: from 4 to 5 hours.
Equipment needed: the usual mountaineering gear.
Back and forth trip to the climbing site: on foot, on easy trail.
