Heliskiing tour in the Dolomites: between snow and sky!

By using a helicopter, it is possible to ski two large ski areas offering over 100 km. of slopes. Each one is diverse in difficulty and length, and all are linked by fast and modern lifting systems:

  • the area of Monte Elmo and the Croda Rossa di Sesto that faces the Tre Cime di Lavaredo
  • the area of Plan de Corones, better known as Kromplatz

Beside skiing in a unique environment, this tour offers a breathtaking panoramic helicopter ride spanning over the beautiful Dolomitic rocks displaying shining lights and shadows at sunset.

Such an experience will remain everlasting in the memory of the participants.

Program of the Heli-skiing tour in the Dolomites

At 9:45 am we take off from the helipad in Fiames, just about 3 km. from city center Cortina.

The first flight lasting about 15 minutes will take us to the Monte Elmo and Croda Rossa di Sesto ski area, flying over the peaks of Monte Cristallo, the Cadini di Misurina e the spectacular Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

In the afternoon we move to Plan de Corones by a fast train ride, having our lunch break at a restaurant/lodge renowned for its cuisine and excellent wines.

The Kromplatz area, being just a large hill, offers an incredible variety of ski runs descending to the bottom valley in all directions.

In 20 minutes we return to Cortina by helicopter, a unique spectacular experience facing the Dolomites as they take different hues of red at twilight.
