Climbing route on Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Via Spigolo Giallo

This route was opened by E. Comici, M. Varale and R. Zanutti in 1933.

One of the pioneers of this route, Emilio Comici, wrote this passage in one of his books:

"… I climbed up the edge Spigolo Giallo, the most overhanging and weather-beaten climb you could ever imagine, because the edge is actually very sharp, like a plough, a sword or a ship bow, the void is constantly behind the climber, both on his left and right side, who does not catch sight of the rocks anymore looking ahead, but just sees sky and clouds".
