Climbing route on Tofana di Rozes, Via "Eötvös - Dimai"

This route was opened by A. Dimai, G. Siorpaes and A. Verzi together with the baronesses Ilona and Rolanda von Eötvös in August 1901.

This is the main climbing route to Tofana di Rozes, that goes up on the imposing vertical rock face over 1000 metre high.

A highly satisfying climb on a perfect route, with some challenging pitches on ledges and sheer, overhanging cliffs.

In the large Tofane amphitheatre there is a rectangular natural cave that is a perfect place where to take refuge in case of bad weather.

The climbing route ends up on the sharp western edge after passing a traverse hanging above a 700 metre high vertical cliff.
